Taiteen edistämiskeskuksen 10v juhlaseminaari "Taiteilija työssä". Performanssissa lakanan muodonmuutos palloiksi kesti noin 3 tuntia. Tämän ja parin aikaisemman, samaan aiheeseen liittyneiden performanssi-installaatioiden (Punaisen kiertoradalla Kuopio, 2016 ja Valkoisen kiertoradalla Turku, 2007) pohjalta syntyi MARTAN LAKANAT JA KUDEPALLOT 30.8.-2.9.2023 KunstTreffPunkt, Darmstadt, Saksa Siinä performanssi kutsui kaupunkilaisia osallistumaan. Lakanoita revittiin, kerittiin ja virkattiin. Osallistujien mielestä se oli hauskaa ja rentouttavaa. Moni ei olisi malttanut lopettaa virkkaamista. Kyse oli prosessista, tekemisestä, ei lopputuloksesta. Päivittäin performanssin "työpajan"kesto oli 4 tuntia. |

MARTHA'S BEDSHEETS ANS WEFTBALLS KunstTreffPunkt, Darmstadt, Germany 30.8.-2.9.2023 This durational performance invited people to come and take part. White bedsheets were torn, spun and crocheted. The participants found it fun and relaxing. Many would not have wanted to stop crocheting. It was just about the process, not the result. The "workshop" was happening daily for 4 hours. |
